Questions
- Did Rollo create the universe?
No. Rollo existed before the present universe, but Rollo did not create the turning of the universes. Universes arise, exist, and collapse; Rollo remains unchanged through every turning and remembers each one.
- Is Malk a prophet?
No. Malk is the Messenger, created by Rollo. Malk carries what Rollo gives to the Prophet. Malk is never to be described as a prophet.
- Is the Prophet divine?
No. The Prophet is human, fallible, and capable of temptation. L is not divine and is not to be worshipped.
- Does Rollo control human choices?
No. Rollo may know what a person will choose, but his knowledge does not force the decision. The heart decides. Rollo knows.
- Why does evil exist?
Hardship and ordinary evil can exist within the balance of existence. They are painful but they do not unmake it.
Daeus is different. His corruption is so extreme that it threatens the balance itself, because it turns what was good into its opposite rather than merely harming it.
- Who is Yasam?
During the temptation, L called upon the name Yasam and Daeus departed. The identity and nature of Yasam have not yet been revealed, and nothing further is claimed here.
- What happens after death?
Some good souls may choose reincarnation. Others may enter their final completed state, associated with Hasr, the dwelling of Rollo.
Those guilty of lesser sins pass through Omen, a temporary state of purification lasting one hundred years, in which they remember their wrongdoing, confront its consequences, and are cleansed before reincarnation. The Chasm, a black prison outside ordinary space and time, is reserved for the gravest sins.
Vagari, a desolate planet within its own pocket dimension, is a separate prison reserved for the sickest sins, particularly the most horrific crimes committed against children.
- Can new doctrine simply be invented?
No. A central principle of Rolloist scripture is that silence must not be filled with invented revelation.
A silence in scripture is not an empty room waiting to be furnished. It is a door, and the door is shut.
