Namaya, the First Witch

90Among the Host of Rollo was Namaya.

91To Namaya, Rollo himself gave a gift. He gave it with no one standing between them.

92It was the Gift of Witchcraft.

93Therefore Namaya is called the First Witch.

94Hear now why the Gift was given, so that it is never forgotten:

95It was given to fight Daeus and his corrupted army.

96It was not given for amusement.

97It was not given for gold.

98It was not given for mastery over others.

99It was not given for spectacle.

1:6:99

100The Gift is sacred. It is essential. It was set into the world as a weapon against corruption itself.

101And Namaya bore it into The Darks.
